It gives me great
please to announce that Nu Mu Lambda has been very well represented at the
Regional Convention in Jackson, MS this past weekend. Nu Mu Lambda along
with Mu Alpha Chapters have been honored once again with the Regional Charles
H. Wesley Award. Although we have won this in the past, it is still a great
accomplishment as it is a true testament of our ongoing relationship as
Brothers within this great fraternity. Congratulations are also in order for
our Immediate Past President, Bro. Kenneth Walker who won the Regional Brother
of the Year Award. Bro. Walker is to be commended for this achievement as a lot
of time and hard work went into this goal. Brothers, I ask
that we all throw our support behind both NML/MA and Bro. Walker as we prepare
to compete for both of these awards at the National Level in Phoenix, AZ this
summer. With everyone's support, we can be victorious with both titles.
However, I do want to remind all Brothers that we do the work of Alpha because
we are Alpha Men and that's what we do. We dont do the work to win awards. They
are just a wonderful byproduct of the positive effects that we have on our
community! So with that in mind, let's continue to work hard, foster positive
change in our community and the results of everything we do will manifest in
one form or another! Great job Brothers and congratulations once again to
